Vehicle Detail

Well here I am reluctantly listing my newest toy. I looked for a long time before I found one worth buying that I didn't really have to do anything to it. Originally, I bought this for my father, an italian immigrant that has had a love affair with the American Military and has always loved the M37. Well, being 82 years young and slight, this was way too much for him to maneuver so I was going to use it as the ultimate beach/surf fishing buggy. Unforseen engine rebuilds in my ocean racer is forcing me to liquidate a toy or two. This is an extremely solid chasis and body. The only rust I've found is a small hole, the size of a dime, on the transmission tunnell. I bought it from a really nice guy in fla. that seemed to be very familiar with these trucks. This is as he told me: The entire bed was media blasted and painted, interior seat cushions and material just done, new canvas roof, axel seals done, locking hubs installed, new exhaust system, rebuilt carb, new spare. The engine runs absolutely beautiful and burns NO oil at all. It purrs as these old flatheads did when they were new. The odometer shows 32000 miles and pretty certain that they are original. Everything works as it should. The 24v system is intact and functions beautifully. All lights, turn signals.... Future needs as when I bought it; left door glass cracked but cheap to replace and could use second gear syncro, depending on your usage, although upshifts fine These pictures are from the add I bought it from a few months ago. If you would like to see current ones please email me @ sureal722@aol.com and I will take some new ones but it's exactly as I bought it. I would consider a 16-22 ft power boat as half trade ie: older sidewinder, Donzi sweet 16.... assuming it doesn't need. That will get me through the time to complete my engines. I appreciate the feedback but a few viewers asked why I wanted so little and were sceptical of the price. There is alot of junk out there in this price range, I know I looked at many before I bought this one. Don't let the low Buy it now scare you from this truck. I think I got a great deal on it and my reserve is just about what I have in it. This truck runs awesome, the under carriage is one of the nicest I've seen and the truck is just very solid. Please ladies and gents, don't make me feel like I need to raise my buy it now to $9000 so I'll get a reasonable offer. :-) Also consider my feedback profile. Look through it and find the happy owners of some big ticket items I've sold and described as if I were buying. Feedback includes 2 or 3 of my watches, 2 Rolex, 1 Breitling, 2 of my boats, 2 of my cars and a Harley Davidson that belonged to my place of employment. On Jun-25-10 at 08:57:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I apologize for any confusion. I hadn't flipped the title yet since I bought it and it just got sent back to me from NJDMV because I had entered 1963 on my application which is what I thought I owned. The title reads 1968 which from what I read is the last year that they were built. Shouldn't be of any significance but I will figure out what year that it is.
