Up for your consideration is a really, really nice 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 4 door Hardtop. The car has 50,000 actual miles. This was originally a west coast car. The car has the optional high compression 350 4 barrel olds engine. The car is also equipped with working power windows, A/C (needs recharge), power steering, power brakes and after market AM/FM radio. The car runs, starts and stops like new. No weird vibrations, rattles or pulls. New white wall radial tires, brakes, complete tune-up, coolant change are some of the work recently completed. The body of the Cutlass is very solid. The right rear quarter area just behind the rear tire has bubbling but it is solid, very small and has just started. The car has no other signs of rust. The rockers are rock solid as are the fenders and doors. The trunk and floor pans have no rust, this means no rust repair, no pin holes no damage. Period. The frame is free of rust also. The vinyl top of original there is no rust underneath the top by the rear window. The body is just solid all over. The car has had one repaint over the original paint in the original color. The paint is better than a Maaco type paint job but it is not show. The chrome and stainless trim is original the chrome showing some pitting the stainless still very nice. The interior is great the driver's seat has one fabric torn about a 1" long. The lower vinyl on the drivers seat is also torn from shoes and has been taped up. I got a estimate of $200.00 to fix the seat just to give you an idea of how minor it is. The rear seat is perfect as are the rugs. The dash pad is perfect the dash is not rusted around the windshield. The headliner is also perfect. All gauges, lights work as they should. Mechanically the car is perfect. Starts right up, does not burn oil nor leak it. The turbo 350 shifts firmly and correctly. When I bought this car I found a receipt for an engine rebuild from a shop in Washington and verified that in fact they did rebuild the engine after it dropped a cylinder. I still have the receipt. The front susepnsion is very solid, the shocks and springs are good. The car still has its original ball joints, tie rod ends etc lending credibility that it is a 50,000 mile car. Lastly, the previous owner was the son of the orignal owner. The car was originally purchased in New Jersey and the whole family moved to California in the Cutlass. The car was kept as a Sunday driver until its original owner passed away. The son kept the car at his home in Washington until I purchase the car with 45,000 miles. He had the car professionaly maintained drove it occasionally and loved it. I drove the car for 5,000 miles, I know it well and can say it is ready to be driven anywhere at any time. The car is being listed at NO RESERVE. I have enjoyed the car tremendously but I must sell it now. Be serious about bidding, I am serious about selling this car.
