A Piece of History! For Sale is a wonderful piece of Americana. This 1958 Cadillac has several great stories and is waiting for you to add your own. The most recent story is we used this car for our wedding. A vintage Hollywood Wedding. Prior to that it was being restored by a doctor who was blind and loved the car for the terrific body lines. The paint is old lacquer and show signs of spidering. Its faint, but when a car nut sees it and they understand that the paint of this car is over 20 years old and is in great shape. There are many things that I don't know about this car, but things that I can tell you is that since I have owned the car I placed Diamond Back period correct tires on it. (radials) I have rebuilt the water pump, went thru the car top to bottom and recently spent $$$ on a carb rebuild. The choke is still not quite correct. But this carb has been to the machine shop for new bushings around the shaft that goes through the body, you name it, it was done. Car should have AC, I have a compressor, but it is missing lines. AM Wonderbar radio works, power antenna does not. Power windows work from drivers location, but do not always work from passenger doors. Let me know if you have any questions on the car. thanksjames
