BEAUTIFUL 1965 VW HARDTOP BUGHere we are selling our personal project. As you scroll through the images you will be amazed how clean this bug really is. The paint is base coat / clear coat original VW Color named Sea Blue, which is original to the car when it was born. After the clear coat was sprayed it was polished to a mirrored shine. The interior is in great condition which also was restored with new seat covers, headliner, door panels etc. All of the seals where replaced with a brand new windscreen and pop-out rear quarter glass for more ventilation. For electrics, this 65 was rewired from bumper-to-bumper and was converted to 12 Volt with a brand new N.O.S generator. The wiring and brand new fuse box was supplied from Wolfsburg West. This Beetle is pushed with a 1600 Dual Port engine. The motor was resealed with no leaks, running with mostly all stock components. I can't finish the tuning on the engine and still will need attention to all of the adjustments to make it run perfectly. Brakes were gone through with new hard lines, rubber lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake fluid bottle and brake shoes. This system will still need a little bleeding and drums turned. Most of the suspension was replaced tie rods (inner and outer), shocks (will still need 1 front brand new shock), but will need a toe adjustment to make perfect. The wheels were sandblasted painted and wrapped around brand new 165/15 tires, and dressed with new chrome VW hubcaps. There is no rust issues on this Bug and pictured is the under side and battery tray. I started the project with solid floor pans. Overall, this is a great 1965 VW Bug that had tons of work done already where the list is endless. Due to time constraints we would like to sell it to someone that can get the last 5 percent done.
