Vehicle Detail
For Sale: 1975 Pontiac Trans Am 455 H.O. 4 speed manual transmission which is 1 of 857 produced by Pontiac and GM in 1975. This indeed is a very rare low production car that is in great shape for the money. The exterior of the car is beautiful to the eye and draws attention where ever it goes. The paint is in very good condition. The interior of the car is all original with exception to the two front seats being recovered. The carpet, dash, door panels, rear seats, seat backs, console, etc. are all original and in mint condition. The engine of the car is the original correct numbers matching 455 engine the car was built with. The cars vin number is visible in its original position on the front of the engine block near the inlet hose for the water pump. The engine was recently rebuilt to over 350+ hp with new ram air III exhaust manifolds and flowmaster exhaust system. Over $5,500 was spent on the engine rebuild ans exhaust system. This car just flat out flies!!. The transmission is the original M-21 manual 4 speed and rear axle is the original 3.23 correct unit that the car was built with. The engine is very smooth and strong and the transmission shifts nice and crisp. The trunk floor still has the original GM paint and felt mat and is like new. Just look at the pictures. The drivers door still has it's original GM compliance label. If you have an opportunity to come and see the car I would suggest doing so to truly appreciate it. I am selling the car as is because cars of this age are. I can be reached at 248-760-0021 to answer any questions or to discuss purchasing the Trans Am. Some one is going to get a great car at a fair price. Please take your time to view all the pictures. below are a few of the cars options. 1) It does have the nicer deluxe interior with the very comfortable "horse collar seats" 2) Rear window defog with the wires in the glass. First or second year for this wire window option. 3) Tilt steering wheel, 4) Honeycomb wheels 5) Hood bird 6) Trunk light and foot well lighting option 7) AM/FM Radio with factory 8 track. Both are the original GM units that came with this car. 8) Tinted glass. All of the glass in the car is the original "soft ray" glass. It is all coded. Also the hood scoop has been converted to be functional with an operating flap when you press your foot down on the accelerator, just like the early 1970 to 1972 Trans Am's.On Jun-07-10 at 15:56:17 PDT, seller added the following information: I did order a full set of PHS documents at a cost of $50.00 for the car and will forward them to the winning bidder. I also bought a new set of blue Pontiac floor mats that matches the interior perfect for the front and rear from NPD and they are already in the car. $150.00 not cheap.
