Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1975 MGB. This is a really fun car to drive and gets alot of attention at the cruiseins. It has new floors and a new interior, new as new to the car, the carpets are new as the door panels, the remaining interior panels are used but dyed to match the new stuff. The seats are from a Miata and have the speakers in the headrest. The current radio does not work, but a different radio will be sent with the car. The engine is from a 1977 MGB and has the dual SU carb conversion along with a header for the exhaust and a new exhaust system, which gives this car the deep throaty sound like a European import roadster. The entire front end has been rebushed with poly bushings and the front springs were shortened by one coil to drop the front end. The car runs great and gets lots of attention. As you can see from the photos it does have a fun, but not perfect, paint job to go along with the sebring valances that replaced the big ugly bumpers. The convertible top is in good condition and less than a year old and is the fold away model. The headlamps are halogen with city lights inside for parking lamps and the front turn signals are L.E.D.s which give it a really cool effect in the evenings. The rear lights are early model ones that don't have the big boxy look to them. I do not know what the actual mileage is on this car, but we replaced the old engine with a 1977 engine that only had 47,000 miles on it. All the rubber hoses have been changed, rubber brake lines, fuel hoses, etc., the clutch and slave cylinders are also new. The fuel tank is new along with the sender and fuel pump. New rotor, cap, wires, and plugs. The coil is less than a year old. I have installed a sporty new leather wrapped steering wheel and air horns to warn people to get the heck out of my way! I am selling this car, along with my Austin Powers Midget and my pristine 1970 red MGB due to current economic conditions. Questions? Call Bill at 513-266-2557. Buyer responsible for transportation costs. Down payment due with 24 hours via Paypal, $500, balance due 5 days after end of auction.
