1982 GL 500I – SilverWing- 24 K miles all there and ready to roll. Just look at the pictures, the bike is in great shape and comes with the travel trunk, the passenger seat and original owners manual – even comes with a spare starter – once I sell the bike I have no more use for any spare parts. The bags are the same as the rest of the bike – in great shape and looking for a person to make use of them, the seat has no rips or tears, the instrument cluster works, the electronics work, bike charges at 13.8-14v at 2100rpm. The tires are in great shape, brakes have many miles left on them. The bike is 28 years old and it still makes highway speed easily. The bike has 23630 miles on it - average use for a season – 844 miles. There are the nicks and bumps associated with use but on the whole the bike is a 9 out of 10 for condition. What it could use is a good wash and possibly a choke cable – the existing cable works, just will not remain out unless it is held. From the pictures you can see that the idle speed of just over 1000 rpm is just where it is supposed to be.
