Vehicle Detail

1986 Fiero in great shape. I bought this car as a winter project it had a minor fender bender in the front passenger corner where the headlight is. Unfortunately it also cracked just the corner of the bumper so I had to replace the front bumper and pass front fender. Headlight assembly as well. The only damage structurally was the headlight pan. I reshaped it, straightened it -fixed it and repainted it all. I'm no body man but it turned out good. No damage to anything other than that. Frame rails are untouched. Car was originally red. Average paint . 1 coat of clear coat over the paint. There were a few little runs but they are not that noticable. Everything works. Headlights, tail lights blinkers etc. Tail lights are in good shape but the passenger side has a tiny hole the size of a BB. They work fine. Sailpanels look good from the outside but they do have some spider cracking if looking from inside out. Fiero store has the tinted ones for a reasonable price and they would look great on this car. And very easy to change too. Interior: I got rid of the original sun visors. Replace with really nice ones that actually block the sun in front as well as the side at the same time. See photo. New headliner material. The stereo works fine has CD player. Front speakers are brand new and rated for 300 watts. Rear speakers are pioneer rated over 100 watts so if you wanted to upgrade the "boss" stereo with something with a little or a lot more power the speakers are ready for that. New ashtrays. Carpet is in great shape. Have the floor mats too just not in the photos. Power windows work just fine. Pass seat is in great shape. Drivers seat has a fabric tear about the size of a quarter otherwise decent shape. All gauges work except oil gauge. Guessing it needs a new sending unit. Engine: When I bought the car I was told the engine was rebuilt by a proffesional mechanic some 16'000 miles ago. He installed a racing cam and headers. Sounds real nice. Runs good but could probably use new plugs, cap and rotor... or a tune up. I didn't do anything of a mechanical nature other than install a new alternator. So New Alternator. Had some problems with the cooling system. Fixed them. A relay that sits under the drivers side headlight was bad- changed it. Also installed a new cooling fan motor for the radiator. Also changed the sending unit on the motor. Cooling system works fine now. Drive shafts looked good. Brakes. Didn't work. Installed new (re manufactured) Brake booster. Master cylinder. Both front calipers. New pads up front. The back brakes will need done at some point. Brakes work fine now. Front tires are Brand spanking new -0- miles. Back tires should be changed out. I think they are too big for this car. They don't rub or anything but thats up to you. They have plenty of tread but do show some weathering. Window Dew wipes are both brand new. Like $150 and a real nightmare to change but they look great. New windshield wipers. Repainted all door jams and hatches/ trunk and hood interiors.. Looks great. Trunk carpet in great shape. Changed rubber seal. Rear bumper had some scratches on drivers side corner so it doesn't look perfect but then again is hardly noticable... Overall this car will turn heads and does look real sharp. But keep in mind it is over 20 years old. On Jun-04-10 at 13:09:24 PDT, seller added the following information: EDIT TO ADD: I wanted to let the winning buyer know in advance that this car comes with (IF YOU WANT THEM) two spare doors I have sitting in my back yard. The reason you would maybe want them is for the glass. As you can see in the photo's the drivers side has a little mild scratches due to the last guy not changing the dew wipes. So they are yours if you want them. Use the glass- sell the doors... Thanks for looking all...
