1965 Ford Mustang Fastback!!! VIN# 5F09C329xxx Description: 1965 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK RESTORATION PROJECT GREAT BUILDER FOR MAKING A ELEANOR, SHELBY, OR RESTOMOD FASTBACK from MUSTANG BEGINNINGS BODY: This Mustang is fairly complete. The body has some rust in the normal Mustang spots, but it is repairable for someone who doesn't mind some dedicated restoration. The upper portion of the body is in decent condition. You should plan on rust repair in the normal places.. Overall this Mustang is a great candidate for any modifications and GO FAST package that you may want to add. The good thing about these earlier fastbacks is the availability of reproduction parts. Almost every part is available for these! 65 and 66 Fastback are getting very hard to find, and this car would make a great Eleanor, Shelby clone, or Restomod Mustang. INTERIOR: The interior of this car is mostly complete. All the fiberglass pieces are in good condition as are the moldings that hold them all together. ENGINE BAY: Engine bay needs very little work! The original 289 engine is present and might run, but a full rebuild is recommended.. BRAKE SYSTEM: The mustang has standard brakes. They are intact and complete GLASS: The fastback has good glass all around and side window glass. The front windshield has been scratched by the windshield wipers and probably will need to be polished out. The mechanisms for the door glass are complete as well. MISC. Parts in car: rear valence, grill, headlights, seats, fold down seat parts, door plates, rear bumper, rear quarter panels. I have a couple of contacts for all the other NOS stuff you may need I HAVE 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND PLAN TO KEEP IT THAT WAY! THERE ARE NO SURPRISES HERE, I ENCOURAGE ALL THOSE WHO BID TO COME SEE THE CAR FIRST IF POSSIBLE OR SEND SOMEONE HERE TO INSPECT IT.
