I lost my job, you find a good deal on this 1962 Thunderbird! The interior, as you can see in the picture, is very very nice! A few stitches in the rear seat and some cracks in the steering wheel are the only imperfections inside this beauty! Headliner, front seats, door panels, dashboard, carpet, all in mint condition. The front seats and the carpet are not original, but i believe the rest is! The 390 v-8 was in running condition, but seemed to be in need of freshening up! I took it out and started taking it apart to clean it up and paint it. Maybe even check the bearing and seals and then install it back in the newly painted engine bay. All the body work has been done but the rear drivers side quarter panels weld needs to be grinded and finished. She is all primered up and almost ready for paint. The original color is caspian blue and is still on the door jams. The trim pieces and bumpers are off the car but are all there, needs cleaning and buffing though. The brakes and the transmission were serviced and work properly. Odometer says 36k miles but I am not sure if it is 36k or 136k... I have had other car buffs agree that the condition of the motor and other areas of my Tbird, make it very possible that the mileage is correct, but i can not guarantee this. The last picture of the Tbird all clean and perfect is an old picture just showing how she looked when I bought her. My 62 Tbird does not currently run and needs to be towed.
