Vehicle Detail
Take a look at this beautiful Willys MB....well almost, its a 1952 CJ3A with a Bensinger MB2A/3A body kit newly installed. This jeep is perfect for parades, re-inactors, and collectors, and only a true expert can tell its not an MB. This started out as a farm jeep rescued from Northern NJ in 2009. It underwent a frame off restoration done by an amatuer restorer (that's me) who has had several other MB's, GPW's and CJ's sold successfully on e-Bay. This Jeep had an excellent 1952 3A frame and drive train. I added a correct previously rebuilt L-head engine. Everything has been gone through on this jeep and everthing has been cleaned, repainted, or replaced with new, NOS, or repro parts. Chassis and Drive Train: New leaf springs front and rear, new/rebuilt shackles, new shocks, new axle bumpers, frame stripped/blasted and painted, new u-joints, new clutch and bearing, new seals and bearings on tranny and transfer case which were drained and cleaned repainted, and all fluids and gaskets replaced, new e-brake pads, hardware, and cable, new engine/tranny mounts, new brakes including all lines and hoses, new master cylinder, four new wheel cylinders. Rebuilt steering box and drag link and steering wheel, new front bumper, new rear bumperettes, repro. pintle hook. 5 new 6x16 NDT tires on blasted and painted 16" original rims. Tranny and transfer case real strong and work properly. Engine: Runs real strong and smooth, no smoke, no noises, no misses it was rebuilt by previous owner, original rebuilt WO Carter Carb, new fuel pump, rebuilt manifolds and new gaskets, new 12 volt alternator, new wiring, new battery, new hoses, new belts, new 180 degree t-stat, new temp. gauge, new ammeter, new fuel gauge and sender, new fuel lines, new plugs and wires. Radiator cleaned and painted new cap. Body: Bensinger MB2A body kit; new tub, fenders, grille, windshield including new glass, hood, seats, new fuel tank, new top bows, brackets and hardware, new canvas (All canvas is Beachwood canvas), repro. shovel and axe, repro. gas can, repro. water bucket, rebuilt authentic blackout lights, new headlights and tail-lights, repro data plates, with correct numbers (Vin of the CJ3A)punched on them. Misc: All new electric, all new gauges (except speedometer - original work fine), all lights, all new switches work properly. Vehicle includes tow rope, pioneer tools and water bucket but does not include prop weapons or prop musette bags, scabbard or helmet. Vehicle has valid NJ title which shows that it is a 1952 3A. Unknown if mileage is accurate, but regardless of odometer reading this Jeep is better than motor pool, almost like it just came off the assembly line. The only thing left to do with this vehicle is have fun driving it and possibly outfit it with some WWII paraphernalia. Vehicle is sold as is where is. Shipping costs are responsibility of buyer. Will work with buyer to arrange shipping (i.e drive it to local shipper or Port Newark.) Deposit via Paypal, balance in cash or Paypal upon pick up or prior to shipping. No checks, no trades, no scams. The "Buy It Now" price is realistic price, the reserve price is very close to that. This Jeep will sell as have all my previous restorations, don't let it slip away.
