1978 HONDA CB400A Hondamatic 2 speed semi automatic transmission, original very good condition with only 10,160 miles. Bike is ready to ride, has new tires, tune up, oil changed, cleaned carbuators, new air filter, battery, spark plugs, front fork oil replaced and chain adjusted. These Honda CB400A in their day were way ahead of the competition, they ride exceptionaly smooth, feel stable and brake safely. For a relativily small bike, the CB440 motor has high torque and pulls way briskly on level pavement in 2nd gear. On a hill it powers away in 1st gear till you manually foot shift into 2nd without a clutch. This is the great beginners or commuter bike. The long seat is very comfortable for two up riding.
