Hello! Next up is my 1922 Willys Overland Model 4 pickup delivery. Wood body and framing from the cowl back, decent condition mechanically and cosmetically, although the bed and sides could use revarnishing. Ran fine when I put her away 3 years ago, but I'm selling her as a non-runner. She handcranks very well, so I know a new battery, futzing with the carb, and tweaking the throttle advance and she'll start fine. Only thing I ever had to do to the little truck was to rebush the front fan pully and add a grease fitting on it. In fact, I've never installed the reworked fan to this day- just lazy, I guess. The nice thing about this truck is that although it closely resembles a Ford Model T in size, the fact that it has a conventional transmission rather than the primitive T planetary ( Sorry, T guys!) makes it much easier to drive. The engine provides a few more HP than the Ford, has a water pump, a distributor and in general is a more refined motor. The other thing is the rarity of this vehicle. Willys produced a good number of the pickup deliveries, but all of them had bodies produced by outside manufacturers, and the survival rate compared to Ford is infinitesimal. I have a clear transferable title from Florida. As usual, my reserve is low, the truck is sold as is, where is with no warranties expressed or implied.
