1998 Honda CR

This is a 1998 Honda cr500. This bike is in very good unmolested condition. I am probably the 3rd or fourth owner. I have the title for this bike. I've had the 500 for about a year and have enjoyed riding this rediculously powerful open class bike. I haven't made any modifications to the bike since I've owned it other than adding a kick stand, but it appears the previous owner changed the plastics from red to white. I still have a few of the original red plastics and an owners manual to go with it. There are no real problems with the bike other than a dented head pipe, (pictured) scuffed plastics, some paint chafing around the foot pegs (pictured) and under the motor, and a partially stripped seat mount bolt. The bike runs great and I estimate the top end is around the mid life point. It starts on the first kick when warm, but takes about a half dozen when cold. I have kept good maintenance on it including crank case oil, spark plugs, and air filter. I primarily used it for cross country trail riding and haven't been hard on it. I had intentions of building a street supermotard out of it, but I already have an xr650r for that purpose and can't justify having two bikes on my insurance.
