Vehicle Detail
66 Dodge Coronet 440 Coupe Only 63k documented original miles. Original Big Block Poly 318, Fresh rebuilt Automatic transmission (with receipts), 8 3/4 rear end. White with red interior, shiny Original Chrome Road Wheels with nice White Line tires, new Dual exhaust system with Large Chrome Tips. Factory Dual Chrome working remote mirrors. New Grant GT Custom Steering wheel installed, but original steering wheel is included, complete with horn ring, and button etc. Chrysler Fender Tag is still attached. The all original interior is in very nice shape, not perfect, but very nice. The original AM radio is still in the dash, and a newer CD player was added under the dash, but doesn't seem to work. There was an after market speaker and grille installed in the dash (with no modifications) and the original speaker grille is included. All the electronics, wipers, horn, lights and gauges work well. The windows are shaded, but the film can be removed if you don't like it. The body is presentable, but the rear quarters will need bodywork, and the paint is fair, I've touched up a few areas, it looks ok, but once you get up close, you can tell that the paint is old, and has imperfections. Perfect grille and beautiful stainless trim, and re chromed bumpers about 10 years ago. When the bumpers were re chromed, NOS wheel opening moldings and rocker moldings were installed, and are still almost perfect. Came with the petal dress up package. Converted to electronic ignition, no more points to worry about. The front frame and undercarriage are perfect and clean throughout, but the rear frame all the way at the back is getting a little flaky, and the right end/bumper support has a hole, the drivers floor has some rot, especially around the gas petal area, but I think the other floors are clean. The trunk has a couple small, minor holes but overall is very solid. The rear quarters have bubbles, and rot on the lowest areas. The original spare tire and jack equipment are still all intact. Equipped with optional trunk light package. Even though Mechanically this car is running great, and you can turn the key and go, this car is older than I am, and may eventually need things, so please don't have unrealistic expectations. There are a few drips on the garage floor when parked for a few weeks, but I haven't had to add any fluids. This Vehicle is sold "AS IS". If you need to drive it across the country, go right ahead, but it's your risk. This Dodge is a solid driver and can be driven while you're working on it. Both the engine and rebuilt transmission, are in excellent condition. The front end feels tight. This car drives very well down the road. It's a lot of Fun to drive, it looks cool, and sounds great! If there are any questions I can answer for you, feel free to ask. I have some factory Chrysler NOS body parts (left rear quarter, right front fender, door skin) and many other parts that I will sell separately if the winner (or anyone) is interested. This vehicle will be sold with a clean Massachusetts title, "AS IS & WHERE IS" with no warranty. DO NOT bid unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure you will complete this transaction. A bid is a legally binding contract. Fraudulent bidders interfering with this auction process will be held accountable. Any and all questions MUST be asked BEFORE bidding. A non refundable deposit of $250 through Pay Pal must be received within 24 hours of auction close. Balance is due in the form of cash or certified bank check within 7 days of auction end.
