The good: this van hauls butt. its cool as f&%^, and everyone stops me to ask what it is. only real reason why im selling it is to thin my heard of cars. its gets aout 10-12mpg in the city, but does over 20mpg on the highway! sounds mean as hell, too. i really do enjoy driving this van. great for hauling bikes, junk and b!tc#es. clean title in hand. The bad: she's a bit rusty, but to me, that adds to how awesome it is... with rust, also comes water leaks. youll stay dry while driving, but the back leaks from where the emergency lights used to be. there are no window regulators in the doors holding up the glass, just a wooden shim and a manequin arm. so awesome. also, finding 8ft throttle cables is a bit of a bear, so i made my own... with that, i made my own gas pedal out of scrap lying around the shop. it's a rat, but i have to mention that its kind of a finicky b!tc# here just so you dont think that this is some 100% perfect vehicle that will never pi$$ you off. one day it will. they all do. carbed out V8's take a different level of commitment for sure. i do recommend taking it to someone that can fully tune the carb if youre not real sure how to. im pretty sure i have a little bit too big of a primary squirter bc its wants to backfire with a quick stab of the gas but once youre going, it flies. i installed a B&M hammer 4 speed shifter, it's brand new, but a little stiff to get out of park. no biggie. put this thing into 1st gear and slam the gas from a 5mph roll and youll kick the ass end out all though second gear. take the 3 speed shifter i have, and make something cool out of it, i dont care. last issue that i want to point out is a slight oil leak from the front cover. ill even give you the new gasket for that, along with a full silicone oil pan gasket from milodon... you know, the b!tc#in 1 peice one that cant be over tightened?! ditch that cork one thats in there. i also will throw in a new fel-pro rear main seal. doesnt leak, but if youre in there, you might as well.
