1965 impala ss convertible . Purchased from the original owner who was 88 years old at the time. This car was bulit in oshawa ontario canada. The pictures taken were in front of Sam Mclaughin home parkwood estate. He was the founder of GM of Canada.This car was sold new on young street at central chevrolet on young street in Toronto. It has never been driven in the snow and and only enjoyed on sunny days. Original numbers matching car .Floors are very solid as well as the rest of the body. Runs like the day it was made.Paint is good , shine is great but does show some wear due to age. Never had any bodywork but has had the paint touched up over the years. Comes with original bill of sale,owners manual, maintenance records that the former owner kept. Gm had a recall on the motor mounts in 65. The repair included strapping a wire cable around block and mount, than tied a rope around the cable to stop it from rattling. This is still intact as it was in 1965.The top functions well and is in good shape except for a repair patch put on by the original owner.
