You are bidding on a 1973 450 SL Mercedes Benz Convertible. It has 78,602 miles. It is classified as a survivor car. It has never been restored or never repainted except for the rocker panels. It is rust free with no rust under the trunk mats or on the front fender inner wells. The car is straight and is a good driver. It is not a show car but it's very nice. It has both tops. The soft top was new when I purchased it about four years ago. It does not have the original radio. Air conditioner is the new 34R and has just been checked out for correct pressure. It also has new tires with less than 500 miles on them. The engine idles a little fast when it's cold and when the engine is warm, it idles just right. It is an automatic transmission. The 1972 and 1973 is the only two years the bumpers were short. Fresh engine and transmission service. The underneath of the car is rust free. Under the floor panels, trunk floor, front fenders and frame are also totally rust free.
