Up for sale is a 2007 Audi Q7 that was damaged during transport. The roof hit a bridge so my transport company was forced to buy it. As you can see from the pictures the damage is fairly severe. The driver forgot to lower the hydraulics and smashed the roof into a bridge. Because my insurance company paid my customer directly, the customer sent the title back to me (hence why I have a clear title). I then decided to buy the wrecked vehicle from the insurance company to fix it and have a nice (newer) Q7 with a clear title. Turns out my wife won't let the kids drive in it, so fixing it up won't do me any good. Also - I should mention that my body shop guy said it could be done, but it will take a decent amout of work. This is a great project for someone that can find some of the parts used. Either way - this is a true no reserve auction. I am just trying to recoop as much as I can from what I paid to the insurance company (which was $7700). Either way - the highest bidder will win this truck. This is also a good opportunity for those of you who don't have a copart or IAA insurance auction license (like myself) to get a car with a clean title and fix it up for yourselves. I will ask that anyone that fixes it to resell it disclose that it was in an accident (b/c the title will not reveal that information). COSMETICS: The interior is basically in new condition and other than a lot of glass that needs to be cleaned, it is in very good condition. The seats and carpets are fine, as is the dashboard. The car has been stored inside since the accident. Mechanicals: As you can see from the pictures, there is a significant amount of damage to the exterior. The roof hit a bridge and is useless. Also, the front bumper has a large crack, as does the rear bumper, and the rear tailgate door is off a bit when closing. Please note there is no way to describe all the damage to you with respect to the vehicle. Please use the numerous pictures I posted and if they are not enough, call me and you can come look at the car. It is located at an auto body in Fairfield, NJ. You MUST have an appointment to look at the vehicle or you will not be allowed in. I'm not trying to be a jerk - but this is not my company and I can't have 20 people a day stopping by to look at this vehicle. MECHANICAL: The car ran when I went to see it after the accident - that is why I purchased it. There was no direct collision to the mechanical areas of the vehicle. I am not guaranteeing there is nothing wrong with the way the vehicle drives (I never owned it and obviously haven't driven it). All I'm saying is there shouldn't be anything wrong as a result of the accident. However, there are obvious wiring issues with the vehicle due to the accident. A lot of wires run to the back of the vehicle through the roof. AUCTION: I’ve done my best to included the best 24 pictures I had. This is an ABSOLUTE NO RESERVE auction and will be sold to the highest bidder. Therefore, you don’t have to feel like you wasted your time watching an auction only to find out the owner had some ridiculous reserve set --- this Audi will be sold for market price – whatever that winds up being. SHIPPING As you can see from my ebay handle (1stcallautohaul), I own a small auto shipping company and brokerage. Anyway, I am willing to ship the vehicle for cost to any location in the continental US. I offer this service because I think this could result in significant savings for any interested buyers that cannot come to get the vehicle themselves. If we can’t put it on one of our trucks, we’ll find a truck for you that can. Please note that this is not an offer to pay for shipping - that is still the responsibility of the buyer – however – we do have a large network of companies at our disposal that could assist with shipping and we will work with the buyer to insure they get the best price (with no portion of that price going to us). Title and extra keys will be over-nighted directly (I can fax a copy of the title to the winning bidder upon receipt of a deposit). Please note, all funds for the vehicle must clear prior to shipping. Shipping costs will be paid directly to the truck driver (COD). WARRANTY The car does not come with any warranty, either express or implied from the seller or the manufacturer (I imagine) due to the damage, and is sold as is, where is. DEPOSIT I will require a deposit of $1500 within 48 hours of the end of this auction. This is a no reserve auction and will almost certainly generate a lot of interested buyers, so I ask that all bidders keep this deposit requirement in mind, as it will be enforced.
