My dad and I bought this Corvette about a year ago to use as a project car, but it has been next to impossible to find the time to work on it. Just having this car sit around is not doing any good so we have decided to sell it. This Corvette is a Targa Coupe model which means that the roof can be removed. The original 350 has been bored out .030 and it is now 355 c.i. with a 4 bolt main block with vortec heads. It has a 4 spd. automatic transmission. The previous owner of the car converted the engine from fuel injection to a Holley 4-brl carburetor with a aluminum intake manifold. All of the electrical for the crossfire injection is still intact so if you desired it could be converted back to fuel injection. I also just installed a brand new distributor. The radio has been upgraded to an aftermarket Sony Xplode cd player. This Corvette starts and runs. It does need some TLC though. A tune up would do wonders for the car. In addition when the previous owner converted the engine he did not change out the electric fuel pump, so the engine runs rich (means that too much gas is being pumped to the engine). This can easily be fixed by replacing the electric fuel pump with a mechanical fuel pump. Another option would be to install a fuel pressure regulator. It currently has one on it but doesn't seem to work. Like I said, it does run and drive, but I have not taken it on any long trips, so I would suggest bringing a trailer to haul it on.
