Vehicle Detail

1985 Mercedes Benz 190D. Very rare European 2.0 liter diesel. Most of the 190D's imported were either the 2.2 or the 2.5, it is extremely rare to find a 2.0. 5 speed manual transmission. Very economical, clean, low maintenance vehicle. Fuel economy boasts virtually 38 mpg on the highway and 32 city( without the a/c engaged ). The 190D 2.0(601) is not as responsive as the benchmark 617 5 cylinder, however, this engine is just as durable and will have a long life expectancy if maintained. Runs excellent. Coupled with the 5 speed stick, it is actually quite a pleasure to drive, in my opinion. Excellent condition. Manual sunroof. Manual windows. Manual climate control. Air conditioning has been retrofitted to 134a and works flawlessly. Very nice cloth interior. No rust Southern car. Everything works: electric antenna, passenger power mirror, clock, vacuum lock system, original AVUS am/fm cassette radio, although I think the cassette player is a little temperamental. Factory European headlights. Very nice Goodyear Viva's 195-65-15. Perfect crack free black dash. New serpentine belt. New shifter bushings. New shift boot and shifter. New hood pad. New factory base/clear champagne paint. Front and rear bumper covers have been refinished. The original passenger door panel had some damage and I replaced it with a door panel from a later model 190 that had power seats, hence the template (see jpegs )to fill the extra space. I have been looking for a panel without power seats of the same color and if I locate one I will transfer the insert onto the new panel and install it before the auctions close. Quite frankly this one looks just fine however. This car can be driven anywhere. Fly into OIA and drive it back home, on possibly less than a plane flight. Buyer to pay 500.00 deposit 24 hours upon auctions end with balance due in 7 days. If you are an international bidder, or a bidder with 0 feedback, I would ask that you please contact me prior to placing a bid. Any questions or if you would like to schedule a time to inspect the car just email or call. I can also assist in vehicle transport if interested. This really is one Sweet car. Clear Florida title. Good Luck. Thanks, Dave (407) 716-6212. The VIN number is : WDB2011221F143559...because it is a European model the VIN didn't work in the auction format. Dave
