1957 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup for Sale Buy This Classic 1957 Chevy 3100 Pickup Very Original Chevy truck with a nice patina, working gauges, and even heat! We are pleased to offer this fantastic original 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup for sale. This classic '57 Chevy Pickup here for sale hails from Hannibal, Missouri. The truck spent it's first 51 years of its life with the same original owner! It was the original owner's hunting & go to church vehicle. It starts right up and drives great just as you might expect from a nice, original, always-loved classic pick-up truck. Most of the exterior paint on the truck is original. All the original gauges work. The deluxe heater functions as it should and that helps make for a nice drive on cool Spring or Fall mornings. The heater core has even been replaced. This '57 Chevy Pickup has new tires, new shocks and new clutch & pressure plate. The truck sometimes pops out of third gear if you hit a good bump but the seller's mechanic believes the linkage adjustment should cure it. The same mechanic dropped the pan and crank & inspected the original mains which looked good on the transmission so that's good. The seller had the mechanic replaced all the engine gaskets and the original rope   seal!! Ah the 1950s Chevy's... The original bed is still under the plywood cover. The bed bottom can be viewed in the close up photo gallery below this description. The plywood would need to be replaced to be useful without the decent looking wood cover. But it certainly is functional exactly as is. As I mentioned most of the exterior paint is original. The inside cab was repainted years ago but the small headliner is original. The cab corners have some putty, and the rear of the front fenders were patched at some time. But overall the body is very solid and the metal of the bed is very straight. It has a great original tailgate!! And the bed walls are perhaps the nicest, original walls you will ever see. This has never been used as a work truck. It was a fun hunting truck and the low original miles show it was driven sparingly over the years. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of the auction close (acceptable via Paypal). The remaining balance is due within 72 hours of the close of auction, unless other arrangements were made.
