1967 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe 327 V-8 61,940 ORIGINAL MILES! NO RESERVE!On Apr-29-10 at 22:07:33 PDT, seller added the following information: THIS IS A NICE DRIVER-TYPE CAR; THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR. JUST TO BE TOTALLY CLEAR & HONEST: IF YOU ARE A PERFECTIONIST, THIS CAR IS NOT FOR YOU. THIS CAR DOES HAVE SOME FILLER IN THE REAR QUARTER PANELS. THIS CAR DOES HAVE A PATCH OR TWO IN THE TRUNK. THIS CAR DOES HAVE THE ORIGINAL PAINT ON THE SIDES AND TRUNK. AS SUCH, IT DOES HAVE MINOR SCRATCHES, DINGS, AND IMPERFECTIONS. SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: IS THIS CAR A RUST BUCKET WITH ALL KINDS OF HIDDEN SURPRISES? NO. IS THE FRAME RUSTED OUT? NO. ARE THE FLOORS INSIDE THE CAR SOLID? YES. HAS ANYTHING BEEN REPAINTED? YES, THE ROOF, REAR QUARTERS, AND HOOD HAVE BEEN PAINTED. DO THE REPAINTED AREAS MATCH? OVERALL, YES. HOWEVER, THE FENDERS WERE NOT EVER BLENDED TO THE NEW PAINT ON THE HOOD. DEPENDING ON HOW PICKY YOU ARE, YOU MAY WANT THIS BLENDED. IS THE FRONT GRILL PERFECT? NO. IT APPEARS AS THOUGH IT WAS PUSHED IN A BIT ON THE LEFT SIDE, AND THEN SOMEONE PULLED IT BACK OUT AGAIN. LOOKS OKAY NOW, BUT NOT PERFECT. NEW QUARTERS WELDED IN AND A FRESH PAINT JOB ALL AROUND, IN MY OPINION, WOULD DO WONDERS FOR THIS CAR. OR JUST DRIVE AND ENJOY AS IS. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, ONLY BID WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY. THERE IS NO RESERVE. BUT IF YOU WIN THE BID, YOU ARE NOT WINNING THE CHANCE TO COME TEST DRIVE IT OR CHECK IT OUT. DO THAT BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS. IF YOU WIN THE BID, YOU OWN IT. IS THIS A JUNKER? NO! HAS MONEY BEEN PUT INTO THIS CAR LATELY? YES! OVER $15,000 AS A MATTER OF FACT. SO DO YOU HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL PARTS AND MOST OF THE RECEIPTS AND WHAT NOT? YES! Sorry to shout there. Just wanted to be clear. '67 Chevy Impala Sport Coupe LOW MILES! Headman Headers and Dual Exhaust with Glass Packs (cost $2000 a year ago) OVER $15,000 invested in this '67 Chevy (and probably in all reality closer to $20,000) WHY THE LOW MILES? The car was originally purchased in Clinton, IA in 1967. The original owner's name and girlfriend's name are still on a sticker on the ash tray! The young man that bought the car died young a couple years after buying the car new. The family kept the car as a family airloom for the next 35 years. It was taken out of storage occasionally, but for the most part this has been in dry storage for most of its life. The car was passed down a couple generations in the family and it ended up in (I believe) a grand neice's family's garage. Her husband is a car guy. He started to fix it up and he ended up getting interested in a different classic car project and he needed to sell this one to focus on the other one. That's when we bought it. We've probably only put 2000 miles on it since we've purchased it! After the original owner passed away, the car went to Georgia, where it spent the next 35 or so years. Phone Ben @ 507-867-1401 to set up a test drive. or Message me through the eBay message system. I check it often. Enjoy the auction!
