Vehicle Detail
I am relisting my bronco because 09koester ( 0 ) bid on the previous auction without the intention of buying the truck and has no possible means to haul it from Florida to Ohio. Anyone interested in this bronco with a feedback rating of less than 10 must contact me before bidding. Anyone outside of Florida must also have my permission to bid. I must know that you are serious and capable of completing the transaction if you win the auction. This bronco 2 has been just sitting on my driveway for the past 5 years and the zoning board is about to fine me on a daily basis. IT MUST DISAPEAR! I don't care if it sells for $1, it must go. The weather has taken its toll on the paint and body. there is some rust and peeling paint. Although it doesn't look good, it did have alot of work done before I abandoned it. I spent over $6000 to buy it and build it up.Here's what I recall that went into it: 7" lift, 4" suspention, 3" body, installed by a previous owner custom built drive shafts all brake lines were extended. 4:11 gears and rear locker with less than 500 miles rebuilt motor with less than 1000 miles. I had it in the swamp only twice after the rebuild. 5 speed transmission extra heavy custom bumpers and side rails. Dick Cepec light bar w/3 lights& 2 PA speakers 8 ft. CB antenna Lund visor w/ lights and rear spoiler Bushwacker wheel well cutout flairs This bronco 2 was built for playing in the mud. It is not a good street truck. It needs a good bit of work: The tires are too big for the brakes and it doesn't like quick stops. It has an after market electric fan that needs to be replaced. I recomend switching back to the original style flex fan. The interior is not pretty, but I would say it is about average for a 26 year old truck. I wasn't able to get it to start. not surprising for a 5 year park. Most likely the ceramic distributor module needs to be replaced. I will update the listing as I investigate what's going on under the hood. PLEASE!!! once the auction has ended, the buyer must remove the truck from my driveway within 7 days. I cannot stress how important this is. If it is here on day 8 I will have it towed to a junk yard. Please be prepared to haul it off if you bid. Thank you, and happy bidding On Apr-20-10 at 20:18:37 PDT, seller added the following information: The remaining tire tread is 5/16" to 3/4" deep. those are Eagle aluminum rims. They look sharp when pollished. The red spots on the fender flairs and bumpers is primer showing through the paint. I should have used a higher quality paint. When you repaint the truck, do not use enamel. The brown spots at the doors is rust. I used a grinder to clean the area but never finnished the repair. it rusted again. If you need help with the body work, whether fiberglass or bondo, I might be able to assist on the weekends. On Apr-20-10 at 20:41:17 PDT, seller added the following information: You may be wondering why the dash is shiny when the seats and carpet look like carp. while I was doing the body work many years ago, I decided to remove the dents and scratces and give it fresh paint and clearcoat. I'm surprized that it still looks so nice after all these years. I had no idea that my bronco was an Eddie Bower edition until I looked up the "title flaw" in the report. I didn't know that rolling over the odometer was a title flaw. It seems kind of mormal for the older cars. On Apr-25-10 at 16:12:49 PDT, seller added the following information: The bronco will need a new starter. Autozone has it for $45.00. I did not have adequate time to get the motor running before the end of the previous listing. The truck has been very dependable in the past. I will continue to investigate why it doen't want to start.
