This item is relisted due to an Ebay motors bug. Ebay can confirm. more pictures - http://s335.photobucket.com/albums/m451/bgr302/LS/ This is American Muscle Luxury at its finest. This is a 2000 Lincoln LS V8 under Lincoln warranty until 03/17/12 or 81,000 miles, which ever happens first. The engine was replaced by WestPoint Lincoln in Houston TX on 03/17/09. The engine was $5,240 and the labor was $2440.90 and I have all receipts. The mileage was 126,032 when the engine was replaced. The engine failed due to a broken timing tensioner. The exterior has some minor scratches and small blemishes that you pretty much have to stick your face on the car to see, I took a picture of every panel for your view. I also took pictures in the sun and shade. Overall this is a 9.8 on the exterior and a 9.9 on the interior. Everything works and this is truly a nice vehicle I really hate to get rid of, I just don’t need it for travel anymore and I need to take it off my insurance. A retired Ford Technician has maintained this vehicle for the last 3 years. This car has never been smoked in. I bought this car for the Insurance sales business and I am no longer visiting clients, therefore it is no longer needed. This is my 3rd and most favorite LS. If you have never driven one, they truly take driving to the next level. This car has been garaged most of its life. I drove it from my house in Montgomery to my work at 1800 Augusta in Houston five days a week. My work location also had a garage for which it stayed under, and I have always taken up 2 spacers to avoid dings. I am a very picky owner and I bought a 2002 Lincoln LS that was wrecked with 40,000 miles and swapped out the seats, wheels, console and radio (now it has a 12 disc CD changer, 6 disc in the dash and 6 disc in the glove department). This body style has pretty much stayed the same from 2000-2006. Throughout the 6 years this vehicle was produced I interchanged the best parts in my opinion. Many believe that the MKZ is a very poor replacement for the LS and I could not agree more. The 2002 chrome wheels were exactly what I was looking for to give it that sporty luxury limo look. The amber headlights and side markers were deleted to provide more of an updated 2006 look as well. And last but not least the center console was replaced with the 2002 to provide more of a purpose and update the look as well. The sun roof works perfect and there are no leaks. One of the cool things this vehicle is equipped with is that if you hold down the unlock for 2 seconds, all the windows will roll down and the sun roof will roll back at the same time. Works great on a nice sunny day. The window tint is as dark as you can get that is legal. The back glass is limo tint. The battery is located in the trunk for superior handling. The Lincoln LS has received very high marks in occupant protection. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has rated the LS as a "Best Pick" with a perfect score in their frontal and offset crash test. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the LS almost perfect scores in its side impact and rollover tests. In fact, CNBC rated the LS as “one of the five safest cars of all time.” In 1999 the LS debuted as Lincoln's first rear-wheel drive sport luxury sedan for the 2000 model year. The LS was built to compete with manufacturers such as BMW, Audi or Mercedes-Benz for a luxury sport sedan. Though related to the Jaguar S-Type, which was introduced the same year, the LS was distinctive in style and content due to the fact that the S-Type and LS each had their own design teams. In designing the LS to be competitive in its segment, Helmuth Schrader, the LS' German-born chief designer, said of the car, "In a segment defined and dominated by BMW and Mercedes, the car had to have a functional, no-nonsense look. This redefines the Lincoln brand, but we still had to make sure it was recognizable as a member of the same family as the Town Car, Continental, and especially the Navigator." Heeding this insight, the LS featured an understated, well-proportioned exterior design with squared-off edges (relative to the S-Type), including trapezoidal headlight housings and rectangular fog lights. The body was tightly sculpted with short front and rear overhangs to emphasize an athletic appearance while well-rounded wheel housings were intentionally made small to suggest that the car's wheels were larger than their actual size. The greenhouse of the LS offered spacious headroom and was accentuated by a smoothly arched roofline. Completing the exterior were subtle chrome accents on the front and rear fascias and Lincoln's signature waterfall grille. Motor Trend magazine named this LS “Car of the Year”. Prices for the LS ranged from $40,000 to $49,000 for a top of the line LS. The Lincoln LS purposeful creases, beefy haunches, short over hangs, and wicked fast C-pillars are carefully crafted. This car is equipped with squinting headlights and 17' chrome wheels. The front bumper has a drop-jaw intake, fog lights, and chrome accents in the front fascia. The midnight black and wood interior reeks of elegant luxury. Fight the urge to find an Audi, any Audi, and you'll discover that the LS bombards its occupants with surprise and delight. If you’re looking for comfort, class, superior sound and clarity with V8 power, look no further. Good luck and Happy Bidding………. more pictures - http://s335.photobucket.com/albums/m451/bgr302/LS/
