Vehicle Detail

This is a cool little wagon project. The original car was completely stripped and body and frame were sandblasted. The frame was fully boxed and mounts set up for the awesome little FORD V8 60 Flathead and 3 speed transmission. It has a 1932 Ford rear axle that has been narrowed to fit and the Crosley brakes adapted. The axles are drilled to fit the Midget race car Halibrand magnesium 12" wheels. The only thing left to do is shorten the driveshaft to fit. It is set up for the stock Crosley leaf springs and has mounts for tube shocks. The front axle has been shaped to clear the V8 60's oil pan.Original Ross steering box in good condition. All the major fabricating on the frame is done. It does need some kind of front brakes, Maybe discs adapted? The 1939 V8 60 engine is in great condition. I got it running when I purchased it, see the video link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9B72ZnDc1w). I removed the RARE Edelbrock block letter heads and had them refurbished they were bead blasted, surfaced and coated with clear to protect them. The equally rare dual intake was also refurbished in a similar manner. When I removed the heads I cleaned up the pistons and valves, everything looks to be in great shape with no ridge in the bores. It has a Clay Smith cam and adjustable lifters. Again, these are extremely rare parts.Included are the stock exhaust manifolds and some new header flanges to fabricate headers. The engine comes complete with the stock clutch and transmission. I don't know the condition of these as I have never removed the trans but I suspect they are O.K.I set it up to run a cable clutch using the stock Crosley pedals and a 1932 Ford release arm. . The body is in so so shape with dents and rust in the front fenders, Rust through in the roof drip rail area. The rear fender area is also a little beat up. On the plus side, The doors are rust free as are the hood and tailgate although this is also dented. I fabricated new front floors and firewall to clear the engine. There is a new radiator built to fit the car. The gas tank is a really cool old military surplus ten gallon gas tank with a lable that says "Domanco corp, Torrance Calif. 10 US Gals" I will also include the original seats , and a bunch of misc. parts, stainless trim, bumpers panels e.t.c, A pair of 12" midget ribbed front tires and a couple of spare rear wheels. Comes with an old 1966 title, registration card and black plates that were on the car when i got it. If you would like to see other pictures feel free to email me. All in all a neat little project with some cool, rare old parts. I just don't have the time to finish it up! Thanks for looking.
