IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10 FEEDBACK ENTRIES, YOU MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDING OR I WILL DELETE BID AND BLOCK YOU, NO EXCEPTIONS. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO BLOCK BIDS OF ANYONE I DEEM TO HAVE POOR OR DECEPTIVE FEEDBACK HISTORY. IF YOU'RE NOT SURE YOU WANT THE CAR, THEN....DO...NOT...BID! I GENERALLY BLOCK THOSE WHO BID, THEN RETRACT, AS IT SHOWS ME THEY CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT THEY WANT IN THE FIRST PLACE. IF YOU WIN AUCTION, THE VEHICLE SHOULD BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN A MONTH AFTER AUCTION END. ROLLING CHASSIS ONLY, NO MOTOR TRANSMISSSION. True 1969 Mustang Mach 1, very highly optioned, see Marti report, PS, PDB, AC and AT. I purchased the Marti mainly to document the very desirable color combination, Wimbleton White with Maroon interior and options. I have a clear Arkansas Title for the Mach (NOT, a salvage title) in my name. The original dash VIN plate is present, as is the radiator core support Buck Tag, door tag missing as both doors do not appear to be original to car. Obviously, the car was involved in a major wreck to the right rear. There is also extensive rust, so this is not a project for the faint of heart. However, ALL parts and sheet metal are being repro'd for these cars. If you're going to build one, build a Mach (as opposed to a plain sportsroof), the higher optioned the better, it will retain it's value and justify the investment. As I mentioned, lots of sheet metal replacement needed, working front to back, the core support will likely need replaced as it has a crack by the passenger hood pin area (I believe it could be repaired by a competent welder without too much trouble), shock towers show cracks/repair and front frame rails show some rust through on bottom/edges. Front torque boxes appear ok, I don't see any rust through, and I think the rears can be salvaged, they are not as good as the front, but I don't see/feel any rust through. Quarters, wheelwells, trunk, drop offs and floors will all require replacement. Driver rear frame rail appears solid, pass side has a rust through crack about 4" long on bottom, could be patched, mounting points for shackels appear solid as far as I can tell. On the trunk channel, pass side, there is a small section rusted through, not sure it will appear very well on pic. The doors, trunk lid and hood are marginal at best, with rust. The front cap is excellent, the fenders have no rust through and I can even see the headlight mounting bucket tabs intact where they mount to the bumper. The front cap/sheetmetal alone is worth 500-$700.00 if you are restoring a mach and want some original sheetmetal. Roof is in good shape, no door glass, rear glass and pass quarter glass present, uncracked, front windshield busted, grille cracked. Seats obviously not original but can be used as cores. VIN number present on apron as shown, coil springs are gone, so this vehicle will sit MUCH LOWER on the tires than what is shown in pics (as I have a jackstand under core support), once the jackstand is removed. I do have some 4" X 4" wood blocks between the bottom of the shock towers and lower control arm, so it will roll without the tires rubbing the fenders. 3 of 4 tires have slow leaks, they do hold air to roll onto trailer but will go flat at varying speed. Rear axle is not the original, it is a 4 lug unit that came out of an early year mustang. The power steering apparatus is partially present, missing some components but the steering box is there, the center link is not connected up to the pass wheel as the tie rod is missing. If I can find a spare piece I'll put it in, but no gauarantees on that, and you may have to load with 'wobble wheel' (vehicles not tracking together up the ramp-loads of fun). The front disc brake calipers and units were removed from the car long ago, being replaced with drum units, but it is a factory power front disc brake car. I purchased this car out of central AR, from a gent who used to have a wrecker business. This car had been sitting at his residence for years, until I bought it. Vehicle sold as is, where is, no warranties express or implied. Shipping and arrangement of same at buyers expense. Ask questions, BEFORE bidding, not after you've won the vehicle. If you don't understand this is a 40 year old vehicle, with all that inplies, DO NOT BID! I am sure I have inadvertently ommitted many flaws of this vehicle, but the major areas have been covered, and you have 24 photo's. Don't buy the heap then gripe to me about it's condition, I do my best to be accurate, but occasionally I miss things, and I can't know the condition of every nut/bolt on this car. Non refundable $250.00 deposit due within 72 hours auction end, balance due within 7 days from auction end. No bank or cashiers checks will be accepted under any circumstances. You may pay with cash in person, bank wire transfer or USPS Money Order.
