Hello, up for sale is our family owned beautiful red with black interior 1970 442 that we have owned since 1987. We have decided to sell some of our cars as we are getting older in age and its time to down size some of our collection of cars. This car has been one of our favorite summer only driven cruising cars for many years. It draws tons of attention everywhere we have driven it. A few things that i would like to mention are that the motor is original and the previous owner worked for the local oldsmobile dealer and it was freshened up some time during the early 1980's. At some point during the 90's we had the carb gone through so this car runs and starts excellent. Every summer fluids changed for regular maintance. The transmission has always shifted great being that it is a turbo 400 model. The mileage of this oldsmobile is 61,705 and is the original miles to the body of the car. I was told also that the car was repainted around the 1980's also at the dealer. The paint is still very shiny as being waxed and shined alot over the years. There is some nicks and chips and little bubbling in front of right rear wheel area. The trunk area is in excellent shape and if you look at picture it looks like rust it is glue from the cover that goes in there. As far as the interior goes the carpet is in excellent shape as we have only had family rides in this car over the years. As far as the wheels go they are original to the car with the hubcaps and have been that way since we received car in 1987. The convertible top works flawlessly. The top is original as to my knowledge and is in pretty decent shape always being up when not being used. There are a couple flaws on it that i want to mention the front left where material is rolled under came up a little also two little slits on the left side. The headlights are all original and in working order t 3. The underneath is always a concern with any car and this car is very clean as i provided pictures. I have decoded the car with the vin number and codes and it is a true 442 with the 455 v-8 engine and heads are the E for correct castings also.
