61 Impala four door sedan, 64,000 mile survivor. All original. Factory 348 / automatic transmission and power steering. This car was sold new here in Arvada, Colorado at Craig Chevrolet to the family I purchased it from several years ago. The paint and interior are very original and in great shape especially for a 50 year old car! I have tons of receipts going back to the mid 60's with nearly every oil change and maintenance item ever done. This is one of those cars that got the best of the best in maintenance and care. Without exaggerating, this car runs and drives like new! I have put over 3,000 miles on it over the last few years and it's a real pleasure to drive. It's amazing how an original low milage car drives so much better than a restored one. Im not sure what the difference is, but this car feels great going down the road, no squeaks, creeks or rattles. The engine runs perfect and does not smoke or even leak. The engine compartment is very clean and shows well. Everything works great except the clock and windshield squirters. The paint is the original old lacquer and is showing it's age but, I guess a little patina is cool these days since nice untouched original cars are getting scarce. The interior, much like the exterior is all original and showing some age on the seats and carpet, but the dash, steering wheel and gauges look NEW! The windshield towards the top is cracked but the rest of the glass is perfect. All of the aluminum trim and chrome plated parts throughout the car are very nice and look great. Here is an original Chevrolet with great options that is untouched and ready to drive anywhere. I know it's not a bubble top but, how the heck are you going to take five of your best friends and all of their stuff to the next drive in move or cruise night this summer in a two door!!!! The title is a clean Colorado title in my business name and is ready to transfer. I have this priced at a fair value so if you really like this great Impala please bid. When was the last time you saw an all original Impala sedan with a 348 big block?
