You are bidding on a beautiful 420SEL,hard to find such a nice and clean example,with low miles,Mercedes dealer serviced,just traded on a new one. Car comes from a highline neighborhood,looks very nice in this rare dark gray color,Mercedes called this color metallic blue-black,and interior has gray/alpaca leather. This car was kept garaged at the owners mansion,looks very nice,clean,smells fresh inside,and runs exceptional. Looking closely at the car,I noticed the fenomenal amount of recent work done under the hood,previous owner really liked this car or he was a Mercedes mechanic,I dont know,the following items look new or recent:it has almost new Goodyear tires(all four),new battery,distributor cap and wires,new hoses and fresh MB yellow antifreeze,new drive belts and AC compressor,plus a miscellanious number of small items and rubber bushings...it also seems to have a new rear main seal,no transmission leaks and seems that it was attended and serviced recently...and who knows how many items that I did not notice. Exhaust is also newer,the last part,original Mercedes part. AC blows ice cold,has a sticker that was retrofited in 2008.Climate control works perfect. Engine compartment is sparkling,no detail was performed,no leaks what so ever under the car.No leaks/seepeage from the valve covers or anywhere else.It has fresh MB antifreeze(yellow). Runs 100%,very good oil pressure,no lifter noise,very quiet,shifts smooth with no clunck or unusual noises,brakes and steering are very good. Interior options all work,tested: cold AC,sunroof,all 4 windows and power locks,Clarion radio and original antenna are all functional. No warning lights,ABS,SRS are functional. Car comes with owners manual,touch up paint,tools,first aid kit,full size spare and 1 key. Interior is very well kept,only drivers seat has a wear mark.Seats are functional,very good support,non smoker/pet owner,dry carpets,original floormats,smells like a new car inside,no dried out gaskets or musty smell... Drives excellent,will go 80 mph seemless,tight,no loose steering,all in all a very nice car. Following issues noticed: cruise control does not work,has very little rust on front bumper and two tiny blisters on the rear wheel well and front fender,looks great underneath and at the door bottoms.
