This is a 1967 Mustang Convertible. The exterior color of the car is spring yellow. I'm the third owner of this car. I've owned it for 16yrs. It's been garage kept since I've owned it and it hasn't been driven in over 12yrs. I purchased the car from a dentist in 1994 for $8,500.00, who purchased it from the original owner. The engine sports a rebuilt V8 302 engine that has only 52,000 miles on it. It currently is not running but like I said it hasn't been started in over 12yrs. It's been sitting in my parents garage this whole time. When it was driven seldomly it ran great. It needs a new battery and starter. The passenger seat broke and needs to be replaced. We held it together with a wire hanger. As you can see from the pictures the original interior is past faded and needs to be refurbished as well. The car is in very good shape. I put a new convertible top ($1000) on before it was garaged. I also installed a new detachable stereo system when I first purchased the car ($1000) and a Viper alarm ($400). I'm now getting married and just purchased 2010 mustang convertible, so I can use the money, as much as it breaks my heart to never get to drive my old friend again. Even though I know I'm not going to get $20,000.00, I'm not willing to take less than $9,000.00. So if it doesnt sell here, I will put more money into it and sell it for higher at a later date. In the description I said the car has a v8 rebuilt engine with 52,000 miles on it. It indeed has a rebuilt v8 engine I just cant be sure of the mileage anymore. I asked Ebay if I should pull the car from the auction or add to description. They told me to add to description about the mistake.
