Up for auction is my 1982 Delorean. It has 12188 miles on it. San Diego, Ca car all its life. It has been sitting the last few years.(car ran when parked) I changed out the spark plugs and wires, changed the distributer cap and rotor. Installed a new fuel filter new air filter, I cleaned out the tank,flushed the fuel lines gave it a tune up and the car fired right up. Then last week it died. I traced it back to the fuel pump. The car needs a fuel pump and the boot because it tore when I was removing the pump. The car still has its original NCT's on it with a ton of tread so you know that the car isn't 112K miles(I wouldn't drive on them though). No curb rash on the rims. Every panel is perfect or near perfect. I would give them all a 9.5 out of 10 only because they are not brand new. The frame is pretty clean with a few spots of surface rust.The interior needs work. The dash is cracked and so is the binacle. needs a new shifter boot.Car does come with the headlights (should be replaced though)Carpet is actually pretty clean. Drivers seat has some wear but overall not that bad. The passenger seat needs to be recovered. Driver side A pillar moulding needs to be replaced. All of the struts work. Car has a new battery and cut off switch. Both windows roll up and down. I have not checked the ac or heater if they work or not. Both front and rear fascia's could use a repainting. I'm sure the car needs a few more things done to it to make it a daily driver. This would be the perfect project car for someone who wants a low mile D cheap. Yes car needs to be towed.
