Thanks so much for the tremendous interest in this Caddy. This is a NO DISAPPOINTMENTS type of car. In a lot of ways this car in investment grade. This is something that has been babied since day one, and if preserved it will be a great investment that is also gratifing to own! This car is from Livonia, Michigan. It was purchased brand new off of the show room floor at Don Massey Cadillac! The Cesargs were an elderly couple that never had children, and from what I've been told they were "Cadillac" people. They always drove Cadillacs, and their Caddy was like a child to them. They cared for it and loved it dearly. Once Mr. and Mrs. Cesarg passed away the car stayed in the family and went to their neice, whose husband primarily used this as a Sunday driver for a few years. So, about 99% of the miles on this cream puff are all from the original family. It's primarily been in dry storage since I bought it last summer. Why am I selling? Well, if you have checked out my store, you may have noticed that I have a lot of vehicles for sale. And I've sold a lot lately. I'm thinning the herd except for two of my classic cars, and I plan to take the proceeds and build my dream garage. And then I'll start filling it up with classic cars! The Cesarg's neice told me that her uncle used to rarely drive this Cadillac. She said that after driving it he would religiously put the car in his garage and wash and dry it inside the garage! And if you look at the shine on this paint, you'll believe it! Another reason for the shine is that The Cesargs had a dealer-applied Sealant and Paint Dressing put on the car before they took delivery. That , and the fact that this is a garage queen, give this car an uncommonly shiney glow. All of the toys work on this jewel with the exception of the fact that the A/C needs a charge. I think it's still on the old freon system, so a change over to R134 may be in order. (although some service stations still have supplies of the old freon) If A/C is huge to you, for an additional couple hundred bucks I would be happy to have my 50-year veteran mechanic switch this over to R134 and charge it so it's ice cold. To say that you'll have no disappointments with this car really hits the nail on the head. The leather interior still even has that new car smell. There's no rust on the inside bottoms of the doors or underneat the rear trunk lip where these are notorious for getting rusty. This is clean and dry. This car is a pleasure to drive. It's almost decadent it's so good! The fuel injected Chevy 350 powerplant is bullet proof and provides EXCELLENT power that is instantaneous. This car has the Gold Package, AM/FM cassette AND Compact Disc. Brand new tires. The list goes on and on. Bid with confidence. This is one of the nicest cars I've ever had. Enjoy the auction!
