1972 Datsun VIN HLS3055113 Purchased out of a farmer’s field in poor condition (see picture) in 1998. Fully Restored – over 12k worth of documented receipts. Less than 2k on mostly everything including the motor, tranny, and others. Other Work Completed: *New metal floor pan and front fenders. *Rebuild on stock inline 6 cylinders with EFI conversion from 1979 280Z. *Complete custom exhaust with amazing sound. *Short throw shifter on manual 4-speed. *Complete aero kit with outstanding 2 tone paint job. *Fresh $2000 custom paintjob. *New Interior including carpets and CD player. *New Windshield, New rubber seals through-out – NO LEAKS. *ZERO, ZERO Rust. *Beautiful Ride, Turns Heads Everywhere This was one of my late uncle Bill's many hobby cars. He did 95% of the work on it himself, and contracted what was beyond his expertise (IE custom paint job). The work was all done around 98-02 and the car has mostly sat in a heated storage unit since then. I was given the vehicle but the fact is the weather in Arizona is a little hot in the summer for a big guy like me in a small vehicle and my school bills this semester are through the roof. Side Note: I had someone ask me about any possible problems with the vehicle. The gas tank is oh so slightly temperamental below half a tank. I believe the sensor rod just doesn't make it to the bottom of the tank. A slight issue that I plan on having taken care of before the sale and don't imagine costing more than $150 bucks. As anyone who knows about old classics, it's that slight temperament that makes you love them just that much more.
