Here's your chance to own a Cadillac DeVille in nice overall shape and good mechanical condition. This Cadillac has ice cold a/c, heated leather seats, an aftermarket Sony CD player and custom exhaust. This is a true NO RESERVE auction with a very low starting price. We just took this car in on trade. This car has the 4.9 Liter V8, NOT THE PROBLEMATIC NORTHSTAR engine. Motor seems to run very well and the custom exhaust sounds nice and throaty. The transmission shifts as it should with no problems. We describe every known issue in detail and take pictures of all issues so you can bid with confidence. The following are the problems with this vehicle. The suspension is bad. We are told it had the air ride suspension and it went bad and is disconnected. Because of this the ride is very harsh. We aren't experts on these cars but are told you can buy regular shocks and struts for far less than repairing the air ride. But if you are reading this you probably know more about these than we do. There are 2 dented areas, one on each front corner. Also, the previous owner cut out the rust below the gas cap and didn't replace this piece of metal. All electronics (power seat, windows, stereo, heated seat) appear to be in working order. The only exception is the gas flap opener. The button doesn't work and you need to stick a screwdriver or something behind the gas flap to release the door. No big deal really. Also the Antilock Brake light is on, so that's most probably a wheel sensor / wheel bearing. The check engine light isn't on now, but it did go on and back off again. So, with a little bit of work this could be an excellent daily driver. All tires have tread, fronts have some tread and backs look almost new.
