Thank you for visiting our auction. This is a very nice example of a previously owned vehicle but is likely not in perfect condition. Up for bid is a 1975 Ford F150 Ranger pickup out of a Northern California estate. This truck has been caught in a time warp and has been stored for many years and is in unbelievable original condition. This truck is original not restored. This was a senior owned truck that still has the original deluxe two tone paint that it left the factory with 36 years ago. This was a special factory order from Holiday Ford in Sunnyvale California. This is the top of the line Ranger ½ ton with a big block 390 4v and a C6 automatic. Not to many 150 ½ ton trucks had the 390 V8. The Ranger was as loaded as you could get in 1975. This is a heavy optioned vehicle with air conditioning and the giant super engine cooling package as well as the trailer tow package. It has the optional front disc brakes. This truck is an early production 1975 build in September of 1974. This truck is smog exempt in California. This truck still sports the original collector blue California plates issued for this truck over 36 years ago. This is a very strong classic Ford that has hardly been used. This truck has original paint which is still quite nice. How many 35 year old trucks still have original paint? This truck has been in storage for years and comes with a clean California original small “pink slip” title. This is a very solid California truck that has been unused for the last 16 years, we serviced the 390 and installed a new Holley 4 barrel to the stock manifold. It also has a brand new starter and battery. The engine runs fantastic with good power. The automatic transmission shifts strong in all gears. This is a California, original hardly used, well optioned, classic Ford. This truck is original not restored. Original vinyl, easy clean floor. - The headliner is in good condition with normal wear. Tiny crack. - The steering wheel is in good condition with normal wear. - The visors are in good condition. - Original AM radio is inoperable. - The bed is in good condition with normal wear. Scratches but no signs of heavy use. VEHICLE ELECTRICAL - The factory AC is complete but not cold.- The heater and defroster is in good operating condition. - The windshield wipers are in good operating condition. - The power steering is in good operating condition. - The power brakes are in good operating condition. Front disc. MECHANICAL CONDITION -The 390 big block 8 cylinder runs and drives very strong. We have not detected any leaks or unusual noises. -The automatic transmission shifts good in all gears. -The vehicle operates at proper operating temperature. -The shocks on the vehicle are in good condition with normal wear. -The exhaust system is in good condition with normal wear. -There is no frame damage or modifications. ADDITIONAL VEHICLE INFORMATION I can guarantee I have done my best to describe every physical and internal flaw that I am aware of. However, I don't claim to have gone over every inch of the car inside and out but I have tried to describe the major points as accurately as we know of at the time of the auction. Any requests for reserve price will be ignored. VEHICLE SHIPPING AND PICKUP Vehicles must be picked up within 10 days of the close of the auction. Because we are very limited on space, cars not picked up within 10 days are subject to a $15.00 a day storage fee. We are available by appointment for vehicle pick up during normal weekday business hours unless you make special arrangements. Our weekends are our family time. If you need a vehicle shipped, there are numerous shipping companies. DAS shippers has a link through Ebay motors. You can get an online quote instantly. The pick up zip code would be 94556. All shipping charges are to be paid by buyer. If you choose DAS, we can transport your vehicle to the DAS depot in Hayward for an additional $100.00. DAS will charge approximately $200.00 to pick it up at our door. VEHICLE REGISTRATION, SALES TAX, SMOG, ETC. We are a licensed California auto dealer. The state requires that if you are out of state and plan on coming here to pick up your vehicle, California law REQUIRES the buyer to pay sales tax and obtain a one day permit from the Department of Motor Vehicles. This is not my law but the State Board of Equalization. It can be found in Publication 52, May 2005, on the State Board of Equalization website. Here is a quote from it as it pertains to out of state buyers: "For a purchaser to qualify for the exclusion from use tax described above, title (ownership) and possession of the vehicle or vessel must transfer tot he purchaser outside of California. When a purchaser exercises control over the vehicle or vessel in California prior to the planned out-of-state delivery, ownership transfers to the purchaser in California. Therefore, if any person other than the seller, or an agent acting on behalf of the seller, delivers the vehicle or vessel from California to the purchaser at an out-of-state location, ownership transfers to the purchaser in California, and California use tax applies. For example, if a purchaser asks a friend or hires a common carrier to deliver the property from California to himself at any out-of-state location, use tax applies." To obtain clearance of the use tax and I quote again: "Shipping receipts showing the date of delivery to a shipping agent and the date the property was delivered to the owner (if the vehicle or vessel was shipped). the recepts should include information that clearly describes the vehicle or vessel, such as the vehicle's identification number (VIN#) or license plate number, or the vessel's California registration number (CF#) or hull identification number (HIN#). If the recepts do not provide adequate information, you may need to provide additional documentation. Also, a vehicle purchaser may use from BOE-448, Statement of Delivery Outside California, to support the fact that the vehicle was delivered outside this sate." If you are a California resident, we collect sales tax, registration fee, documenation fee, and a $50.00 smog inspection fee. We then provide you with registration in the window so you can legally drive the vehicle until your title and license plates arrive in the mail. If you are an out of state buyer, you will need to pay a $55.00 documentation fee in addition to the price of the vehicle. PAYMENT INFORMATION Please follow the rules of the auction after it is completed regarding deposit and full payment deadlines. Anyone not following auction rules will be reported to Ebay and appropriate feedback will be left. There is a clear title on the vehicle. A non refundable $500 deposit must be sent within 24 hours of close of auction via Paypal, money order or cashier's check. Full payment needs to be received no later than 5 p.m. on the Friday immediately following the of close of auction. If you reside outside the continental US you must pay via wire transfer. Please don't bid if you are unable to follow the rules. We do not finance vehicles. You mush have your funds readily available at the end of the auction for payment. Your bid is a binding contract to purchase a vehicle. We do not accept credit cards. Due to an increase in nonpaying bidders, we must insist on a nonrefundable down payment deposit within 24 hours of close of auction. Failure to leave the downpayment will result in appropriate negative feedback and I will turn the case over the Ebay Dealers Development and let them handle the situation. Simply put....don't bid unless you are prepared to follow the terms of the auction. VEHICLE REGISTRATION There is a clear title on the car. All vehicles that are sold to California buyers that legally require a smog inspection will include the smog unless otherwise stated in the auction. Any California buyer will be responsible for all state sales tax, license and documentation fees. Out of state buyers will need to contact their own DMV office for registration and transfer information. We will collect a $55.00 documentation fee from out of state buyers.
