1970 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS SUPREME CONVERTIBLE This auction features my 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible. It is the best of everything. It is a 1970 numbers matching block convertible ordered with sport interior, air conditioning (very rare option on convertible) and power disc brakes. Originally Florida car. I keep it indoors in my climate controlled garage. Exterior: Is a gorgeous metalic version of the original factory ordered Sherwood Green. Excellent quality paint job that just comes to life in the sun, see photos. Complemented by white rally stripes, (period correct). All stainless trim and chrome in excellent condition. This is a all metal car with a skim coat as needed for finishing and is in superior condition in every way. Straight as an arrow. Power convertible top is newer as well as the pads. It also has the more expensive GLASS rear window style top verses the plastic rear window type. Engine: * Numbers matching block, 350 Rocket motor has been completely rebuilt just a few thousand miles ago. The engine is backed by a turbo 350 automatic transmission that has also been rebuilt and shifts nice and firm just like it should. The engine has been updated with some fun performance modifications including an MSD electronic ignition system, ceremic coated headers with a new exhaust including true dual flow masters off the headers and stainless tips (sounds awesome). Edelbrock alluminum intake manifold, Holley 4- barrel carb. etc. Dressed for show with stainless steel braided lines, chrome transmission pan and valve covers and finished in original Oldsmobile rocket gold, see photos. Don't be fooled it's all muscle. Runs better than new. Does not burn any oil,no motor noise, choke kicks in, fires right up. Even though this car has had some performance modifications it still gets very good gas miliage (about 22 miles per gallon on average). Runs cool, even in the summer time with the A/C on. Mechanical: The underneath is all metal, clean and finished, see photos. Frame is excellent, rock solid. Emergency brake cables clean, work fine. Brakes, this was a rare disc brake option car! Rotars drums, calipers, pads, cylinders, shoes and hardware all like new. Work perfect and in excellent conditon, see photos. 12 bolt rear end. Completely newer A/C system, alot of money spent on new A/C system. All blower motor, heater and related HVHC works fine. This is a factory air conditoned car and it came with a tinted glass option. Maintanence full synthetic oil change, transmission fluid and N.Y.S. safety inspection just done a month ago. Interior: Sport interior which included bucket seats that are in excellent condition, no rips or tares and the legendary rocket shifter on the floor console. Everything on the inside is extra clean and mostly all original. The stereo is not original, AM/FM, 8 track, GM, period correct with box speakers in the rear that sit on the seat. I never had the heart to cut into pannals to install speakers. I am including with the sale an original 1970 Oldsmobile sales brochure with several color photos (fun), the owners manual, two sets of keys, some receipts and a DVD which shows the sales training info and specs on the 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass. This is a local show/cruise night quality car. Of course by this point you have figured out that this is a rare optioned car and will only continue to go up in value. It has a couple minor scratches, nothing really even noticeable by photo. It is absolutely beautiful in every way. A blast to own and drive. Oldsmobile stated that the 350 rocket 4 barrel carb. put out 310 HP as it was ordered from the factory. Price: The magic number is $17,500.00 or there about.
