I am selling my 1963 Oldsmobile Starfire, a fully documented high value classic since day 1. I am the third owner. When I purchased the car, it had the original paint and I have many pictures of it's condition prior to the completion of an excellent paint job by a known local classic car restorer. The paint is Sierra Beige Mist and has 6 coats base and 12 coats clear which was wet sanded to a mirror finish to duplicate an original lacquer look. There is zero rust on the car, which spent it's life in a dry western state until I purchased it. The underside is perfect with absolutely no rust or damage of any kind. This Starfire has only 64,500 original miles and was never damaged in any way during it's life. All of the original front end components were still on the car when I received it. I had all worn front end components replaced with NOS Oldsmobile parts and put 4 new steel belted radials on it and had the car fully lined up. It is absolutely smooth as silk at any speed. It runs and drives without any vibration or unusual noises of any kind. It does not leak fluids of any kind. The brakes are completely rebuilt and are perfect. Because the car sat for many years, both the engine and transmission were removed and completely reconditioned 2500 miles ago. The car runs, sounds, shifts and drives like a new car. The air conditioning bearing was frozen when I bought the car and it too was replaced with an NOS bearing and the system worked perfectly with R-12 (extra cans will go with the car). The new owner may convert this to 134 if he chooses. The original fuel pump remains on the car, but I have a working electric fuel pump installed as well. This is a highly optioned car with the 394 cubic inch (345 horsepower) high compression engine, 3 speed automatic transmission, tilt wheel, power antenna, power windows, power steering, air conditioning, interior light kit, original mint am radio and more. The trunk is in excellent original condition and is fully detailed. The interior is in absolutely amazing condition. The dash is perfect, the headliner looks like new, the original carpet (with Oldsmobile 1963 tags still on it's underside) looks new. Door panels, rear deck, tachometer, center console all look as perfect as you will ever in this classic Starfire. The new owner will receive a reproduction window sticker showing a list price of this highly optioned car at over $5100 in 1963, all owners manuals and many pieces of original 1963 dealer literature. I am not asking for high retail for this car. I realize it's a private sale, but look at the book value of this car and you know you are buying an important classic in superior condition.
