Up for bid, one 1998 Mustang convertible. The body is rust free with all original paint except for a small spot repair on the hood that I'm pointing to in one of the close up photos. The interior is in nice condition. Tires were recently replaced. The previous owner owned the car since 2007 and the car was usually garage kept. Known issues:Needs a battery.The engine needs a freeze out plug replaced, I'm not sure which one but was told by the previous owner that it is in an awkward location. The coolant leaked out and was run until it shut off. I drove the car home which was less then a mile and it ran and drove fine. The engine seems to be okay and runs fine.The previous owner told me the transmission is lazy when cold until it warms up but I haven't noticed it. The few times I've moved the vehicle the trans seems fine. The radio doesn't work.The rear window leaks water into the top well and I've also noticed the right rear passenger foot well was wet after a rain storm.There is damage to the left rocker panel molding,right and left fenders, right corner of the front bumper cover and a dent the size of a baseball in the right door I'm pointing to in the close up photo. The windshield is cracked.The car was used as a spare with regular usage until the recent freeze out plug issue.The car is for sale as is with no warranty. Payment is expected within a week of auctions end via pay pal or cash at pick up. Pick up is expected within two weeks of auctions end. The buyer is responsible for pick up.
