This has been an awesome truck!It has made it a long way--415,000+ miles--which means it has been really dependable. I have another truck now and don't have room for this one so it has to go. Wife says I can only have 6 vehicles. Go figure. There are, of course, a few problems. That's why it is being sold AS IS and will go cheap. But if you fix the issues, you will have a truck at a price that can't be beat. Rides great. Runs well. Great in the snow. Radio works well. Cassette tape player works. CB radio is installed and I will throw in the portable magnetic antenna. Air conditioning needs freon charge. A couple of dash lights for the AC and radio are out but all others work fine. 4WD works great with a push of a button. Cruise control works perfectly. Big amount of rust under driver's door. This is common for Silverados of this age but it's pretty extensive in this one area. The big caveat is the fuel line. It is rusted and leaks (only when driving) and needs to be replaced. The fuel pump works now but I'm told that it will probably need replacing with the fuel line. A repair shop can do these for about $1000. If you can do it yourself, it will be much cheaper. I can't do it myself and didn't want to spend the money just to sell the truck. Fog lights have been removed but the wiring is still there, so you can reinstall new ones if you like. Bed is in great shape. The interior needs vacuuming but is in good shape. No cracks in the dashboard. Seats in good shape and I have had camo seat coverings on them since I bought the truck. Tires are almost brand new. Cooper A/T3. Paid about $600 when I purchased them in a year ago and have put about 500 miles on them since. This vehicle has been a great hunting truck.
