Up for bid is a 1947 James Comet 98cc. This bike was restored 20 years ago and was in a museum for the last 10 years. Since restoration it has not been started, however the motor has been completely overhauled. The oil has been drained out of the bike according to museum safety and environmental rules.The bike is in excellent shape except for a missing chain guard otherwise the bike is complete. The paint is in very good condition and correct for the year model. The successful bidder will be responsible for picking up the bike or having the bike shipped.
