The motor was new for the 2012 model year and proved to be a great success when compared to either the 3.5 or 3.9 offered in previous years. The new V6 has dual overhead cams and is E85 friendly. This particular impala is owned by my 60 year old neighbor, who has pampered it since he purchased it in 2013 with a tad over 20,000 miles on the odometer. The mileage is currently at 174,000 however they are nearly all very easy highway miles as this was used as his traveling sales vehicle. Not only are highway miles easy on the motor and trans, all maintenance was regularly preformed and company funded (meaning no missed oil changes or neglect of any kind). The car is free of any rust, and shows extremely well. The interior is in excellent condition with exception of a minor tear on the drivers seat (see photos). Also you will notice how clean and detailed both the engine compartment and trunk are. This shows the care that this car has received its entire life. The owner is a non smoker, so there are no stains in the headliner nor foul odors inside. All 4 tires are brand new, new brakes, and recently changed fluids.
