As such, we told him we would help to find them a new home and doing it for FREE. What you're looking at is a CBR400 aka NC29 That considered, these bikes are gray market imports and have NO PAPERWORK. You could likely do a title request in many states and have one issued but NOT IN CA as these are 11 digit vin bikes and CA requires 17 digit vins (CA and Hawaii are the only two that I know of right now). Anyway, not running, no history and need a lot of love to get her back up and running again. We do have keys so that helps! Listing this one and and a VFR400 for 1.00 starting price. We do have some spares laying around to rebuild one of these but know they are tough to find as they were never brought in the US. Ton's of parts available in Japan and the UK though. As rough as she is, it is rare, has some cool bits on it would make a good project. I'm confident the motor isn't frozen up but assume a full carb rebuild, new battery and some hoses and such will be needed. Doesn't appear to be leaking. We're a full service shop and specialize in project bikes but be warned, this would be a pricey project for a shop so only purchase if you can wrench!
