2005 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Yellow/Black This was the undisputed KING of modern sport bikes before the Bimmer. Both multiple time AMA and WSBK champion in its day. Great shape. No drops or abuse. 2,700 TRUE MILES, no stories. Bought from a gentleman whose wife wasn't the sport bike type. I bought it and modded it heavily but don't have time to ride now. If you think the Ducati Panigale V4 or S1000rr or the ZX10r are more powerful with more features and tech, you're absolutely right-you're also right if you think the aftermarket and customization scene won't bleed you dry pricewise-already done here. The newer versions of those bikes will most certainly have their recall issues as well. But If you also think this bike is below your skill level and too old to be both competitive AND dangerous...YOU ARE WRONG. If a bike with 170 crank HP and butt-clinching torque throughout the entire rev range, feather light and responsive steering and some of the best aftermarket parts in the biz aren't your cup of tea-no problem. I'll just sit on it, re-flash the ECU to make a reliable 185hp without a piggy-back mapping device, lower the rotating mass further still by upgrading wheels, install a quick shifter and embarrass the bike night boys in the twisties or on the track even more...or YOU could just do that yourself with this bike. Bike is stored. Mileage won't go up. Title in hand. All mods are NEW have less than 200 miles. No chrome or engine internals or extended swingarm nonsense here. Only the good stuff.
