*Make an offer* for sale non running 2007 mini cooper s, I am the second owner. Car ran great until the infamous timing chain tensioner break that these are known for. Car is non running and has sat in my garage for 1 year. I have confirmed for sure the tensioner disintegrated beyond that I only know the engine will not turn over I do not know the severity of the damage to the engine. Any parts removed from the engine are set aside in a box. The car does not run and the battery is dead. mileage is between 72000 and 75000 not sure of exact as again the battery is dead, but I had the oil changed a week before the tensioner failed and the mileage due date on the oil change sticker says 75000 so it was before then. When parked all power functions operated as they should. The car came with the following options : Power windows , heated seats, cd player, Dual sliding sunroof, power mirrors , fog lights and the rally lights on the bumper direct from mini not china aftermarket. headlights that angle with the road, real mini rubber mats front rear and cargo, original unused mini floor mats, wheels are mini wheels not aftermarket and roof spoiler. Car is an automatic with optional paddle shifting and has a sport mode button.Body is in very excellent shape for its age, no rust or body damage anywhere and the hood has a clear vinyl bra on it to protect from road chips.Interior is in very nice shape no rips or tears in the leather or headliner. I have a clear title in my possession. car DOES NOT run and will have to be towed.I will not ship unless all arrangements are done by the buyer.I would like a $500.00 deposit at close of auction with the rest at time of pickup or other predetermined arrangements. please do not purchase it and try to figure out how to pay for it.
