This is a 1986 Porsche 944, in Guards Red, with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This car runs and drives good, shifts well through all the gears and has good power. The paint is fairly new and the body is in good shape, the color does get the car a lot of attention. The interior is in decent shape, the seats were recovered, and the carpet is new, and does have a newer CD player. The previous owner did some modifications that include an air filter mod, and a nice sounding cat back exhaust (not very loud). The only real issues with the: the gauges do not work, the previous owner changed the dials in the gauges and that might be the reason (I believe a new gauge cluster would solve the problem), and the passenger window does not go down. I have owned many 944s over the years, I am also a PCA member, I would rate this 944 at better then average, though its not perfect. ***The European plate is just for show, this is a US domestic car and will come with a Texas plate
