You are bidding on a beautiful classic 1982 Mercedes 380SL convertible. This car has been lovingly cared for over the years and it shows. An extensive list of new parts have been installed within the last 3-4 years: new exhaust including catalytic converter, new brakes and calipers, new plugs, fluids and sensors, new filters including fuel, air and oil, new brake booster and hoses, a double-roller timing chain has been installed, new tires, the list goes on and on. New Alpine CD player and speakers tastefully installed. The car is originally from Beverly Hills California and has never had any rust or repairs to the body. It has been in Maine for 3 years fully garaged and infrequently driven. The pictures speak to the condition of the vehicle. The spare tire looks to have never been removed! This car runs and drives beautifully with no "rattles" or "shakes" just a great classic driver. Starts every time and is spunky. She hugs the road like she owns it. I bought an original Mercedes owners manual and have a Chilton shop manual plus an expensive portfolio book on the SLs and SLCs. Car comes with a hard top carrier and cover. Plus there is another full soft top canopy in black. The rims on the car are chrome and show peeling. The odometer broke shortly after I took possession 3 years ago and reads 120,394.
