1976 Ford F100 4x4 Custom SWBOriginal Copper Metallic PaintNew Interior Upholstery360 4v 4-Speed PS PBSolid Original Truck! Please, bid only if you can afford to pay within 3 days of auction’s end. No zero- or low-feedback buyers without contacting me first. You may call me (Tim) directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. Up for sale by Rose Lane Restorations is a fantastic original survivor 1976 Ford F-100 Custom Short Bed 4x4 pickup. This is an extremely straight truck wearing mostly original Copper Metallic *(Hot Ginger) paint that still shines up nicely, as you can see. With just the right amount of patina showing, this is a truck that you can enjoy without worrying. It is in well-maintained daily-driver mechanical condition, with no presentation of outer body or floor rust. The body is straight with only minor nicks and dings. The grill surround was cleaned and detailed, along with the grills and headlamp trim. Factory chrome Sport front and rear bumpers, original year-specific Western Sport mirrors still look great. The bed has original paint inside, and shows some very minor perforations, but no rust big holes. This is the only rust I could find on the truck worthy of mention, and it is not significant. I've taken pictures of the cab floors still wearing original paint so you can see how solid the truck is. The tailgate was just painted to match (original was in poor condition), as was the driver's box side (previous fence post damage below fuel filler area, not rust... I have pictures of this and the repair, too, which was done right, in factory sheet metal). Otherwise, the balance of the paint is the original born-with Copper Metallic finish. Brand-new front windshield and gasket; the balance of glass is original, and in good condition. The interior has just been completely gone through, and features new black carpet, a new black dash pad, new matching Parchment seat upholstery and headliner to match the existing original Parchment visors, re-dyed original black door panels with matching Parchment XLT Ranger trim installed (I can dye these black if the Parchment is too much for you), and more. The instrument cluster was removed, cleaned, and detailed, the bezel painted, the interior painted metal surfaces polished, and the shifter arms, pedal arms, etc. cleaned and painted. The door weatherstrip, felts, and wipers replaced. The engine is the original born-with 360 FE big block with conservative performance and reliability upgrades including an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 4v carburetor, new fuel pump, line, and filter, new water pump and hoses, new alternator, starter, and relay, and a new battery. The engine was just tuned including new ignition wires, cap/rotor, carb adjustment, and air cleaner. Easy starting, smooth running, and a bit more power than bone stock. Full dual exhaust. Factory four-speed manual transmission, shifts through the gears as it should. 4x4 transfer case in proper working order. Axles and transfer case topped off with gear oil. The truck still has basically stock factory suspension, no lift, and a nice, easy factory ride. Big aluminum Weld wheels with very nice 32" fat tires on all four corners. Good clutch and brakes with a new vacuum booster and master cylinder. A good, solid, and reliable classic Ford 4x4 short bed truck that won't break the bank. I believe I've priced this fairly to sell at $12,500.00. This truck is going to make someone a happy new owner. Payment, Title, Shipping: Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for export, inspection, etc. While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 43-year-old classic truck, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. This is a used vehicle, and not perfect; you can expect minor flaws and issues as appropriate of a truck of this age. Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction’s end via cash, deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic car restoration shop and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times... ultimately the choice must be yours alone. And yes, I would be happy do discuss the restoration of your vehicle... I operate a spacious 16,000 square foot restoration facility and have the room, equipment, and talent to handle most any restoration. Feel free to call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have.
