This 2003 S8 is the last year of the D2 body style and is an Audi exclusive version with the Avus Silver exterior & Oxblood interior. The car has never had body work or paintwork as far as I can tell. The body is in excellent condition with 1 scratch on the driver side front fender and a few knicks on the rear bumper. The car was converted to a 6-speed manual transmission in September of 2017. I used the TDI transmission with the tall 6th gear to lower RPMs while cruising at highway speeds. The transmission was sourced through Advanced Automotion and was fully inspected and overhauled with upgraded motorsports synchros prior to shipment. The center differential was cryo treated and rebuilt to provide high bias to rear wheels. The JHM lightweight flywheel and stage 4 clutch was used between the engine and trans. The setup is a great balance between drivability and performance. At the same time, the steering wheel was upgraded to the latest version of the Audi 8V S3. The airbag & heated steering wheel are both functional but the buttons are not. The front seats were recovered with high-quality leather in diamond stitching pattern. The other recent upgrades are listed below. The car drives great, I have been driving it as a daily driver since the transmission swap. The headlights were upgraded to the bi-xenon Euro W12 which are significantly better than the US Xenon headlights.
