1976 GL1000. I'm the second owner. Has 32,000 original miles. Custom paint by graphixbyjim.com (me). I wanted to make it look like what I thought Honda should have done when this bike came out. I wanted to embellish the CBX Super Sport theme into a GL-X. This is unique, and I get asked if this bike came this way and is it a new model. Painted with all House of Kolor Paint in Majik Blue Pearl, Black with CBX style striping in Gold and Orange. Everything you see is in paint including the HONDA on side of false tank. No decals. The bike has been completed for almost 6 years now and runs flawlessly and has been a blast. This is a well known bike on the web and at the Barber Vintage Festival. Rebuilt carbs with Randakk's full Viton seal kit, starts and runs great. No worries about modern ethanol fuels.2, 1979 Suzuki GS1000S Wes Cooley Fairing with proper mounts similar to the GS. 3. Rare Lester wheels 19" Front and Ultra Rare 18" Rear. This makes a big difference in handling and ground clearance vs, the typical 16" Lester you see on these all the time. 4. Progressive fork springs and ATK Fork Brace. 5. CBR Master for better braking with braided lines front and back. 6. EBC Sintered pads work amazing for an old bike. 7. Reservoir Shocks on back. 8. Dynatech Electronic Ignition with Dyna Green 3 ohm Coils and solid copper core wires. 9. Bike has been thoroughly gone through. Black Powder coated frame and swing arm. Painted Wheels that hold up better than powder coat. 10. Bridgestone Spitfire Tires 11. All new seals in the coolant system, hoses, new fan temp sensor, fan works and comes on when required. 12. Custom white gauge faces. All gauges are functional and operate as they should. Lights are all functioning and work as well. 13. Every nut and bolt has been touched and replaced if not cosmetically perfect. 14. I have a backrest and rack available for $75, if you buy it now I’ll throw that in. This bike draws a crowd wherever it goes. It is a pleasure to ride, I've enjoyed it, but I'm moving on to my next project. I ride this bike all over the place and it will go anywhere reliably. The closer you look, the better this bike gets. There are no disappointments with this bike. I have the title in hand. Bike is located in Hampton GA. A deposit of $500 is due at the end of the auction with the balance due within 3 business days.
